Shytoshi Kusama’s Absence Sparks Community Discussion
The lengthy absence of the mysterious Shiba Inu leader known as Shytoshi Kusama on the X platform has recently become a hot topic within the community.
In a recent tweet, a SHIB team member, Vet Kusama, expressed the community’s rising concerns about Shytoshi’s absence, reassuring everyone that everything is proceeding as planned and there is no cause for worry.
While Shytoshi is Offline, ‘More is on the Way’
Vet Kusama mentioned that Shytoshi has been offline for a week, despite his last post being at the end of February and the last repost dating to March 7. Community members can verify this by visiting @ShytoshiKusama’s X account.
Despite this absence, Vet Kusama assured the community not to worry, stating, “Don’t worry, more is on the way.” He further promised that when Shytoshi returns, “everything will be great.”

‘Let’s Have Coffee First, Shytoshi Kusama’
Lucie, the SHIB team’s social media lead, also hinted at Shytoshi’s offline status, stating he is likely busy working on the Shibarium ecosystem expansion. She commented on a tweet from the Shibarium Updates account featuring a cartoon character with a SHIB head, suggesting it was about Shytoshi, and wrote, “Let’s have coffee first. @ShytoshiKusama.”

Earlier this week, the Shibarium Updates account addressed the community’s concerns regarding Shytoshi’s silence, stating that the ecosystem is expanding, new technology is being developed, and the foundation is already set. They also indicated that Shytoshi might be hard at work, noting, “Sometimes the quiet ones aren’t gone — they’re just ten steps ahead.”
