Hurricane Milton Intensifies

(Reuters) – Milton has rapidly intensified into a category 5 hurricane, according to the U.S. National Hurricane Center.

Milton is currently located approximately 735 miles (1175 km) southwest of Tampa, Florida, with maximum sustained winds reaching 160 mph (250 kph), reported the Miami-based forecaster.
