LIBRA Creator Cashes Out Stolen Funds
Hayden Davis, creator of LIBRA, has allegedly cashed out over $1.6 million in stolen funds from cryptocurrency trading, according to crypto analyst Dethective.
On March 6, Dethective revealed transactions showing wallets unstaking $900,000 from Kamino Finance and converting it into USDC. An additional $741,000 was converted recently, sourced from LIBRA and other alleged scams.
Dethective asserted, “I’ll keep posting because there’s no way they get away with zero consequences.”
Furthermore, it is claimed that Davis is “farming kamino points” using $1.4 million from LIBRA, Melania Trump’s MELANIA memecoin, and other sources.
Davis previously served as a crypto advisor to Argentina’s president Javier Milei and reportedly earned over $100 million trading LIBRA through his firm, Kelsier Ventures.
Milei’s promotion of LIBRA, combined with insider trading, led to thousands of investors losing millions as the token experienced drastic price fluctuations within hours. This situation has also resulted in corruption investigations and calls for impeachment.
An advisor for Argentina’s National Securities Commission, who had connections to Milei in a draft contract with Davis, resigned last Friday amid investigations into his involvement with LIBRA. According to the Buenos Aires Herald, Sergio Morales resigned “for reasons of public knowledge,” and his home was raided following prosecutors’ orders.
