Canadian Wholesale Trade Estimate for November 2023

According to a flash estimate from Statistics Canada, Canadian wholesale trade is expected to fall by 0.7% in November compared to October. This decline is primarily attributed to reduced sales in:

• Motor vehicles
• Motor vehicle parts and accessories
• Building materials and supplies

The estimate is based on a weighted response rate of 58.8%, which is lower than the average weighted response rate of 81.9% over the past year.
