Binance Academy Introduces New Course: Blockchain for Business Sustainability
Binance Academy, the top crypto exchange Binance’s crypto learning forum, is introducing an exclusive online course. In partnership with the Finland-based University of Oulu, Binance Academy is unveiling the “Blockchain for Business Sustainability” course. The course intends to impart knowledge concerning blockchain technology’s role in driving sustainable business activities and promoting environmental responsibility.
Educating Community about Blockchain Technology
The course, developed in collaboration with Professor Dr. Teck Ming (Terence) Tan, an Adjunct Professor at the University of Helsinki and Associate Professor of Marketing at Oulu Business School, aims to address the growing focus on sustainability. It explores blockchain technology’s potential in facilitating eco-friendly business practices.
Professor Dr. Tan emphasized that this collaboration examines five key domains: supply chain management, ESG reporting, renewable energy, incentivization, and circular economy. The initiative aims to clarify what blockchain technology can achieve.
Empowering Consumers and Promoting Blockchain Adoption
This course also aims to help participants understand the sector’s role in establishing a sustainable future. It encourages knowledge sharing about how blockchain technologies can significantly contribute to more sustainable business operations. Stephen McAllister, the Binance Academy Team Lead, stated that Binance Academy is dedicated to empowering blockchain users and fostering widespread blockchain adoption.
According to Binance, the course is available in English and is free of charge. It is structured as a three-week, self-paced program consisting of twelve modules, each followed by quizzes to assess learning progress. Upon completion, participants will receive a co-branded certificate from the University of Oulu and Binance Academy.
