9dcc and Mastercard Collaborate on Limited Edition Apparel

Web3 luxury fashion brand 9dcc has partnered with Mastercard to launch a limited edition apparel series at the PGA Tour’s Arnold Palmer Invitational in Bay Hill, Florida.

Collection Details

The collection, titled Pass to Priceless: Bay Hill Capsule, offers Mastercard cardholders at the four-day event a choice from nine curated items priced between $10 and $50. U.S. residents can also purchase select items at passtopriceless.9dcc.xyz.

Interaction and Digital Collectibles

Purchasers of the Bay Hill Capsule items can engage more by interacting with 9dcc’s stitched-in NFC chips. After purchase, buyers can tap their phones to the chips to receive a digital collectible, a twin of their physical item on the Ethereum scaling network Polygon. This may grant exclusive access to teased “priceless possibilities” in the future.

The label recently sold out its Black Box drop in December, which featured a mix of digital and physical rewards, including a CryptoPunk NFT valued at approximately $139,000.

Mastercard has a long-standing relationship with blockchain and crypto, having introduced a debit card with MetaMask and advancing its integration of traditional banking with blockchain through its Multi-Token Network.
