Research Unlock: Unlocking Avalanche Layer 1s with ACP-77

ACP-77 is a community proposal that would change the validator dynamics of Avalanche L1s, previously known as subnets. Avalanche L1 validators would no longer need to validate the Primary Network and stake a minimum of 2,000 AVAX. They would instead follow requirements set forth by sovereign Avalanche L1s. Avalanche L1 validators would pay a continuous dynamic fee to register information on the P-Chain. This proposal benefits both enterprise and retail Avalanche L1s as regulatory compliance and validators’ low barriers to entry can be achieved. This Research Piece is unlocked by Ava Labs.
