Zuvu AI and Vana Partner to Democratize AI
The three entities intend to bring together their products and services to help grow, democratize, and monetize the decentralized AI industry ahead.
Zuvu AI just rebranded from SocialTensor after a successful debut year in 2024, which yielded over $10 million in revenue.
Zuvu AI, a well-funded and fast-growing decentralized intelligence platform formerly known as SocialTensor, has announced a strategic partnership with Vana ($VANA), an EVM-compatible layer one (L1) blockchain focused on tokenizing and monetizing user data via DataDAOs.
The strategic partnership between Zuvu AI and the Vana network will tap into Bittensor ($TAO), a decentralized machine learning network that enables permissionless AI training, to democratize the mainstream adoption of decentralized AI.
> “Vana is shaping the future of decentralized AI by making user-owned data a core asset. By integrating Vana’s data layer with Bittensor’s subnet network and Zuvu’s economy layer, we are unlocking new possibilities for data tokens and accelerating the growth of our DataDAO ecosystem,” Art Abal, Managing Director at Vana Foundation, noted.
The artificial intelligence (AI) sector has grown rapidly in the past few years with the notable proliferation of tech giants led by Microsoft, which has invested over $10 billion in OpenAI, and tech billionaire Elon Musk, among others. The use of AI to revolutionize content creation has heavily been incorporated into the blockchain and web3 ecosystems to help ensure sustainable scalable protocols.
However, the existence of many siloed AI decentralized networks has hampered the growth and monetization of user data. As a result, the Zuvu AI network has collaborated with Vana, which recently announced a strategic investment from YZi Labs – formerly Binance Labs – and welcomed Changpeng Zhao (CZ) as an advisor, to further monetize their data nodes.
> “This collaboration is about building a fully decentralized AI ecosystem where data, compute, and economic incentives converge to create real-world utility. By integrating these layers, we’re unlocking new monetization pathways and enabling AI to deliver tangible value beyond traditional models,” Daniel Raissar, COO at Zuvu AI, noted.
The Zuvu AI protocol has already built and scaled four active subnets in the Bittensor ecosystem. Worth noting that the Bittensor network is a major AI ecosystem, which has facilitated more than 3.1 million transfers since its inception.
Late last year, Zuvu AI, through SocialTensor, launched NicheTensor API, a platform that bridges the Web3 infrastructure to the Web2 ecosystem.
The NicheTensor platform by Zuvu AI was designed to power dynamic, and creative AI tools. Furthermore, the Zuvu team has a mission to enhance its text-to-image generation platform, which personalizes images with transformative features.
