Johnson Aims for Budget Bill Vote by Easter

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – U.S. House Speaker Mike Johnson announced on Tuesday his intention to hold a vote on a budget bill in the House of Representatives by Easter. The goal is to send the finalized bill to the president by Memorial Day.

Johnson also addressed ongoing wildfires in southern California, stating that disaster relief will be included in the budget reconciliation discussions and debates.
