Turkey Stock Market Update

Turkey stocks declined after Thursday’s close, influenced by losses in the Wholesale & Retail Trade, Technology, and Non-Metal Mineral Products sectors.

At the close in Istanbul, the BIST 100 fell by 0.62%.

Best Performers

  • Anadolu Efes Biracilik ve Malt Sanayi AS (IS:AEFES): up 3.90% (+7.50 points), trading at 199.90.
  • Turkiye Sigorta AS (IS:TURSG): up 2.50% (+0.30 points), ending at 12.29.
  • Aksa Enerji Uretim AS (IS:AKSEN): up 2.44% (+0.94 points), closing at 39.54.

Worst Performers

  • Katilimevim Tasarruf Finansman AS (IS:KTLEV): down 5.89% (-3.30 points), trading at 52.70.
  • Reeder Teknoloji Sanayi Ve Ticaret AS (IS:REEDR): down 4.10% (-1.12 points), ending at 26.20.
  • BIM Birlesik Magazalar AS (IS:BIMAS): down 3.93% (-22.00 points), closing at 538.50.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Istanbul Stock Exchange by 350 to 204, with 23 remaining unchanged.

Commodities Update

  • Gold Futures (December delivery): up 0.39% (+10.40), at $2,695.10 per troy ounce.
  • Crude Oil (November delivery): down 2.27% (-1.58), at $68.11 per barrel.

  • EUR/TRY: up 0.47% at 38.19.
  • US Dollar Index Futures: down 0.37% at 100.25.
