U.S. President-elect Donald Trump to Meet Netflix Co-CEO
By Dawn Chmielewski
(Reuters) – U.S. President-elect Donald Trump is set to meet with Netflix (NASDAQ:NFLX) co-CEO Ted Sarandos on Tuesday at Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort, according to a source familiar with the matter.
Sarandos has traditionally supported Democratic Party candidates, donating to President Joe Biden, former President Barack Obama, and Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, as noted by researcher OpenSecrets.
Since Trump's election victory in November, several business leaders have been looking to establish a positive relationship with him.
Sarandos did not immediately respond to a Reuters request for comment.
CNN reporter Alayna Treene previously reported on this meeting on X, formerly known as Twitter. Trump also mentioned plans to meet with Amazon.com (NASDAQ:AMZN) founder Jeff Bezos this week.
