The price of TON has surged more than 20% over the last 24 hours, now trading above $3.45 with an $8.14 billion market capitalization, following French authorities returning Pavel Durov’s passport.

This development allows Durov to travel freely and concludes a situation that raised concerns among privacy and free speech advocates. Durov, co-founder of Telegram— a messaging platform with nearly a billion users— has consistently championed privacy and secure communication.
