Taiwan Stock Market Update

Investing.com – Taiwan stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Glass and Electricity sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Taiwan, the Taiwan Weighted declined 0.46%.

• San Fang Chemical Industry Co Ltd (TW:1307) added 9.99% or 4.10 points to end at 45.15.
• Foxconn Technology Co Ltd (TW:2354) was up 9.96% or 7.30 points to 80.60 in late trade.

Worst Performers

• Lead Data Inc (TW:2443) fell 9.85% or 0.39 points to trade at 3.57 at the close.
• Creative Sensor Inc (TW:8249) declined 8.24% or 5.70 points to end at 63.50.
• Golden Bridge Electech Inc (TW:6133) was down 8.09% or 2.05 points to 23.30.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Taiwan Stock Exchange by 0 to 0.

• Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.69% or 0.47 to $69.08 a barrel.
• Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.67% or 0.48 to hit $72.64 a barrel.
• The December Gold Futures contract fell 0.18% or 5.10 to trade at $2,795.70 a troy ounce.
