Investing.com – Taiwan stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, led by gains in the Semiconductor, Electronics, and Electrical/Machinery sectors.

At the close in Taiwan, the Taiwan Weighted rose by 2.13%.

Falling stocks did not outnumber advancing ones on the Taiwan Stock Exchange.

Shares in Arima Communications Corp reached 5-year highs, climbing 9.95%.
