Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Basic Materials, Industrials and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 0.56%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:SBBb), which rose 11.80% or 0.42 points to trade at 3.95 at the close. Meanwhile, Nordea Bank Abp (ST:NDASE) added 0.90% or 1.10 points to end at 123.10 and SAAB AB ser. B (ST:SAABb) was up 0.34% or 0.80 points to 234.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Evolution AB (ST:EVOG), which fell 3.37% or 32.60 points to trade at 933.60 at the close. NIBE Industrier AB ser. B (ST:NIBEb) declined 3.15% or 1.50 points to end at 44.50 and H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb) was down 2.40% or 3.90 points to 156.80.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 460 to 310 and 77 ended unchanged.
Shares in Evolution AB (ST:EVOG) fell to 52-week lows; down 3.37% or 32.60 to 933.60.
Crude oil for January delivery was down 0.16% or 0.11 to $70.18 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 0.15% or 0.11 to hit $73.41 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 1.75% or 48.11 to trade at $2,708.59 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.11% to 11.53, while USD/SEK fell 0.08% to 10.97.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.12% at 106.26.
