Sweden Stock Market Update
Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Telecoms, and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 0.26% to hit a new 3-month low.
Best Performers
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were:
– H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb) rose 1.62% or 2.40 points to trade at 150.90.
– ABB Ltd (ST:ABB) added 0.90% or 5.40 points to end at 603.60.
– AstraZeneca PLC (ST:AZN) was up 0.70% or 10.00 points to 1,433.00 in late trade.
Worst Performers
The worst performers of the session were:
– Nordea Bank Abp (ST:NDASE) fell 1.75% or 2.10 points to trade at 117.60.
– Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB A (ST:SEBa) declined 1.65% or 2.50 points to end at 148.70.
– Swedbank AB ser A (ST:SWEDa) was down 1.39% or 3.00 points to 213.20.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 397 to 382 and 79 ended unchanged.
Commodities Trading
- Crude oil for January delivery was down 1.67% or 1.18 to $69.40 a barrel.
- In commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 0.05% or 0.04 to hit $72.84 a barrel.
- The February Gold Futures contract rose 1.43% or 37.31 to trade at $2,645.41 a troy ounce.
Currency Exchange Rates
- EUR/SEK was up 0.46% to 11.48.
- USD/SEK fell 0.28% to 10.99.
- The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.72% at 107.38.
