Stellantis Denies Report of New CEO
MILAN (Reuters) – French-Italian car maker Stellantis (NYSE:STLA) on Wednesday denied a report from Corriere della Sera that it intended to appoint Apple’s outgoing finance chief Luca Maestri as its new CEO.
A Stellantis spokesperson stated, "It is not true," responding to claims that Stellantis Chairman John Elkann was set to name Maestri following the departure of CEO Carlos Tavares.
