Spain Stocks Close Lower
Investing.com – Spain stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Financial Services & Real Estate, Consumer Services, and Chemical, Petroleum & Plastic sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Madrid, the IBEX 35 fell 0.84%.
Best Performers
The best performers of the session on the IBEX 35 were:
– Mapfre (BME:MAP), which rose 4.99% or 0.13 points to trade at 2.69 at the close.
– Laboratorios Farmaceuticos ROVI (BME:ROVI), added 2.69% or 2.05 points to end at 78.30.
– Unicaja Banco SA (BME:UNI), was up 0.55% or 0.01 points to 1.09 in late trade.
Worst Performers
The worst performers of the session were:
– Acerinox (BME:ACX), which fell 5.01% or 0.46 points to trade at 8.63 at the close.
– Banco Santander (BME:SAN), declined 3.01% or 0.14 points to end at 4.49.
– Sacyr SA (BME:SCYR), was down 2.90% or 0.09 points to 3.08.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Madrid Stock Exchange by 106 to 77, and 33 ended unchanged.
