Saudi Arabia Stock Market Update

Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Petrochemicals, Financial Services, and Retail sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.31%, hitting a new 1-month high.

Top Performers

  • Rasan Information Technology (TADAWUL:8313): up 7.13% or 5.20 points to 78.10 at close.
  • Miahona Holding SCJSC (TADAWUL:2084): up 6.75% or 1.85 points to 29.25.
  • Theeb Rent a Car Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4261): up 6.59% or 4.90 points to 79.30.

Worst Performers

  • Saudi Arabian Mining Company (TADAWUL:1211): down 4.09% or 2.30 points to 53.90.
  • Al Hokair Group (TADAWUL:1820): down 3.18% or 0.09 points to 2.74.
  • International Company for Water and Power Projects (ACWA Power) (TADAWUL:2082): down 2.95% or 13.40 points to 441.20.

Overall, rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 160 to 134, with 30 ending unchanged.

Shares in Rasan Information Technology (TADAWUL:8313) rose to all-time highs, while shares in Theeb Rent a Car Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4261) reached 52-week highs.

Commodity Prices

  • Crude oil for December delivery: down 1.02% or 0.73 to $70.96 a barrel.
  • Brent oil for January delivery: down 0.77% or 0.58 to $74.34 a barrel.
  • December Gold Futures: up 0.06% or 1.70 to $2,678.00 a troy ounce.

  • EUR/SAR: up 0.24% to 4.04.
  • USD/SAR: unchanged at 3.76.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.32% at 104.64.
