Russia Stock Market Summary
Investing.com – Russia stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Telecoms, Mining, and Oil & Gas sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Moscow, the MOEX Russia Index fell 0.35%.

- Aeroflot PJSC (MCX:AFLT) rose 2.40% or 1.35 points to trade at 57.60.
- Moskovskiy Kreditnyi Bank PAO (MCX:CBOM) added 1.01% or 0.06 points, ending at 6.39.
- VK Company Ltd (MCX:VKCO) was up 1.00% or 3.40 points, trading at 343.40 in late trade.
Worst Performers
- AK ALROSA PJSC (MCX:ALRS) fell 3.73% or 2.02 points, trading at 52.13.
- Novolipetsk Steel (MCX:NLMK) declined 2.15% or 2.88 points, ending at 130.96.
- FGK Rusgidro PAO (MCX:HYDR) was down 2.00% or 0.01 points, trading at 0.52.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Moscow Stock Exchange by 159 to 83, with 11 ending unchanged.
The Russian Volatility Index (RVI), which measures the implied volatility of MOEX Russia Index options, was up 5.41% to 26.48.
Commodity Prices
- Gold Futures for December delivery were up 1.07% or 28.90 to $2,736.40 a troy ounce.
- Crude oil for November delivery fell 1.88% or 1.33 to $69.34 a barrel.
- The December Brent oil contract fell 1.64% or 1.22 to trade at $73.23 a barrel.
Currency Exchange Rates
- USD/RUB was down 2.20% to 95.26.
- EUR/RUB fell 1.88% to 103.52.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.34% at 103.30.
