Robinhood will host a trivia game in its mobile application over the next two days, offering over $2 million in Bitcoin and Dogecoin prizes.

Contest Details

Eligible U.S. customers with a Robinhood account can participate in Day 1, which begins today at 4:45 PM ET. The contest features 12 multiple-choice trivia questions focusing on finance, economics, and cryptocurrency. Participants have just 10 seconds to answer each question.

Users who answer all questions correctly split a $1 million Bitcoin prize. If no one answers all correctly, the prize will go to those who answered the most questions correctly.

Day 2 Contest

The second day’s contest will occur exclusively for subscribers of Robinhood Gold service, featuring another $1 million in Bitcoin and additional undisclosed Dogecoin rewards. Scott Rogowsky, known for hosting HQ Trivia, will host this event.

Participation Requirements

Users must participate via the latest version of the Robinhood app, available on both iOS and Google Play. Winners will be notified through the app and email within five days post-contest and must claim their prizes within 30 days. Crypto prizes are based on the market rate at the time of transfer to the winner’s account.

Additional Information

This is Robinhood’s first trivia contest. The Vice President of Product, Dheerja Kaur, mentioned they will evaluate its success before committing to hosting similar events in the future.

Recently, the SEC concluded its investigation into Robinhood without pursuing enforcement actions. Currently, Robinhood’s stock (HOOD) is up 2.27% at $47.27 per share.
Bitcoin is priced at $90,078, and Dogecoin at $0.204, both having seen a 2.5% increase over the past 24 hours.
