Robinhood Trivia Live Game

Trading platform Robinhood launched its Robinhood Trivia Live game on Wednesday, offering $1 million worth of Bitcoin prizes, attracting nearly 400,000 players.

The game featured 12 multiple choice questions about finance and cryptocurrencies, starting with over 392,600 players. By the final round, only 1,210 players remained, competing for a share of the Bitcoin prize.

The game lasted about 15 minutes, hosted by former HQ Trivia host Scott Rogowsky, beginning with a basic question about Tesla and Fed Chair Jerome Powell. By the third round, over 230,000 players had been eliminated for incorrect answers.

The difficulty increased in round three, where players had to identify a stock ticker not included in the S&P 500 Index, eliminating another 130,000 users.

As the game continued into round 4, cryptocurrency topics emerged, including a question about the term “HODL,” the total supply of Bitcoin, and the year Dogecoin was created.

Only 1,210 players made it to the final 12th question, which asked for the largest IPO in 2024 by deal size. 615 players answered correctly, each earning approximately $1,626.01 in Bitcoin (about 0.018 BTC).

Robinhood plans to host another quiz session on Thursday, this time exclusively for Robinhood Gold subscribers. Winners will share another $1 million in Bitcoin, and all participants will be eligible for an undisclosed amount of Dogecoin.
