Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang Requests Earlier Supply of HBM4 Chips

SEOUL (Reuters) – Nvidia (NASDAQ: NVDA) CEO Jensen Huang has requested that memory chip maker SK Hynix expedite the supply of its next-generation high-bandwidth memory chips (HBM) called HBM4 by six months. This information was shared by SK Group chairman Chey Tae-won on Monday.

Originally, SK Hynix aimed to begin shipping its HBM4 chips to customers in the second half of next year.
