Norway Stock Market Update
Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Media, Transport, and Diversified Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX lost 1.44%.
Best Performers
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were:
– Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NAS): rose 1.58% or 0.17 points to trade at 10.60 at the close.
– Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGL): added 1.32% or 1.55 points to end at 118.60.
– Subsea 7 SA (OL:SUBC): was up 0.48% or 0.80 points to 168.30 in late trade.
Worst Performers
The worst performers of the session were:
– SalMar ASA (OL:SALM): fell 3.29% or 19.00 points to trade at 558.00 at the close.
– Nordic Semiconductor ASA (OL:NOD): declined 2.51% or 2.80 points to end at 108.70.
– Mowi ASA (OL:MOWI): was down 2.38% or 4.60 points to 189.05.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 176 to 92, with 35 ending unchanged.
Commodities
- Crude oil for December delivery was up 1.18% or 0.81 to $69.42 a barrel.
- Brent oil for delivery in January rose 1.05% or 0.76 to $72.92 a barrel.
- The December Gold Futures contract fell 1.77% or 49.60 to trade at $2,751.20 a troy ounce.
Currency
- EUR/NOK was up 0.62% to 11.98.
- USD/NOK rose 0.76% to 11.03.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.18% at 104.05.
