Norway stocks lower at close of trade; Oslo OBX down 0.98%

Market Overview

Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Media, Transport, and Diversified Financials sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX lost 0.98% to hit a new 1-month low.

Best Performers

The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were:
Nordic Semiconductor ASA (OL:NOD): rose 1.71% or 1.70 points to trade at 101.40 at the close.
Borr Drilling Ltd (OL:BORR): added 1.33% or 0.56 points to end at 42.58.
Kongsberg Gruppen ASA (OL:KOG): up 0.39% or 5.00 points to 1,291.00 in late trade.

Worst Performers

The worst performers of the session were:
Nel ASA (OL:NEL): fell 3.50% or 0.11 points to trade at 2.93 at the close.
Hoegh Autoliners ASA (OL:HAUTO): declined 3.39% or 3.70 points to end at 105.30.
Var Energi ASA (OL:VAR): down 2.40% or 0.83 points to 33.71.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 189 to 83, with 29 ending unchanged.

Commodity Prices

Crude oil for January delivery was down 1.11% or 0.79 to $70.50 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading:
Brent oil for delivery in February fell 0.47% or 0.35 to hit $74.14 a barrel.
February Gold Futures contract fell 0.12% or 3.11 to trade at $2,672.69 a troy ounce.

Currency Exchange

EUR/NOK was up 0.37% to 11.72, while USD/NOK rose 0.28% to 11.16.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.12% at 106.56.
