Norway Stock Market Update

Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Media, Transport, and Diversified Financials sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX declined 0.79%.

Best Performers

The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were:
Nordic Semiconductor ASA (OL:NOD): rose 3.61% or 3.80 points to trade at 109.15.
Kongsberg Gruppen ASA (OL:KOG): added 2.01% or 23.00 points to end at 1,166.00.
Orkla ASA (OL:ORK): was up 1.56% or 1.55 points to 100.80 in late trade.

Worst Performers

The worst performers of the session included:
Borr Drilling Ltd (OL:BORR): fell 11.70% or 6.15 points to trade at 46.40.
Equinor ASA (OL:EQNR): declined 3.93% or 11.10 points to end at 271.50.
Aker BP ASA (OL:AKRBP): was down 3.55% or 8.30 points to 225.20.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 149 to 134, with 26 ending unchanged.

Shares in Borr Drilling Ltd (OL:BORR) fell to 52-week lows, down 11.70% or 6.15 to 46.40.

Commodities Trading

  • Crude oil for December delivery was down 5.42% or 3.89 to $67.89 a barrel.
  • Brent oil for January fell 5.32% or 4.02 to hit $71.61 a barrel.
  • December Gold Futures contract fell 0.03% or 0.75 to trade at $2,753.85 a troy ounce.

  • EUR/NOK was up 0.66% to 11.88.
  • USD/NOK rose 0.21% to 10.99.
  • The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.00% at 104.13.
