Norway Stock Market Update
Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Media, Transport, and Diversified Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX declined 0.38%, reaching a new 1-month low.
Best Performers
- Nel ASA (OL:NEL): rose 5.45% (0.16 points) to trade at 3.15
- Borr Drilling Ltd (OL:BORR): added 3.25% (1.36 points) to end at 43.20
- Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGL): up 2.60% (2.55 points) to 100.55 in late trade
Worst Performers
- Yara International ASA (OL:YAR): fell 3.05% (9.60 points) to trade at 305.30
- SalMar ASA (OL:SALM): declined 1.69% (9.50 points) to end at 552.00
- Telenor ASA (OL:TEL): down 1.64% (2.10 points) to 126.30
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 158 to 120 and 28 ended unchanged.
Commodity Prices
- Crude oil for January delivery was up 0.68% (0.48) to $70.56 a barrel.
- Brent oil for February delivery rose 1.02% (0.75) to hit $73.94 a barrel.
- February Gold Futures fell 0.27% (7.15) to trade at $2,654.85 a troy ounce.
Currency Exchange Rates
- EUR/NOK was up 0.29% to 11.78
- USD/NOK rose 0.44% to 11.24
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.17% at 106.85.
