Norway Stock Market Update
Investing.com – Norway stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Healthcare Equipment & Services, Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences, and Utilities sectors led shares up.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX gained 0.70%.
Best Performers
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were:
– TGS NOPEC Geophysical Company ASA (OL:TGS): rose 6.16% or 5.95 points to trade at 102.50.
– Kongsberg Gruppen ASA (OL:KOG): added 4.85% or 54.00 points to end at 1,168.00.
– Tomra Systems ASA (OL:TOM): up 2.90% or 4.40 points to 156.20 in late trade.
Worst Performers
The worst performers of the session were:
– Hoegh Autoliners ASA (OL:HAUTO): fell 7.59% or 10.10 points to trade at 123.00.
– Frontline Ltd (OL:FRO): declined 2.00% or 4.50 points to end at 220.00.
– Borr Drilling Ltd (OL:BORR): down 1.83% or 0.95 points to 51.05.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 162 to 116 and 31 ended unchanged.
Shares in Kongsberg Gruppen ASA (OL:KOG) rose to all-time highs, gaining 4.85% or 54.00 to 1,168.00. In contrast, shares in Borr Drilling Ltd (OL:BORR) fell to 52-week lows, losing 1.83% or 0.95 to 51.05.
Commodity Prices
- Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.78% or 0.55 to $70.22 a barrel.
- Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.65% or 0.49 to $74.47 a barrel.
- December Gold Futures rose 0.59% or 16.00 to trade at $2,745.40 a troy ounce.

- EUR/NOK was unchanged at 0.03% to 11.85.
- USD/NOK fell 0.11% to 10.97.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.18% at 104.09.
