Doodles Launches DOOD Token

The NFT brand Doodles is set to launch its own Solana-based token named DOOD.

Token Allocation

Out of the 10 billion total token supply:
30% will be allocated to the Doodles community
25% will go to its ecosystem fund
17% will be given to the team
13% is intended for “new blood”
10% will be set aside for liquidity
5% will go to the company itself.

These details were shared in a social media post on Thursday. Additionally, the Doodles team has plans to bridge the token to Coinbase-incubated Layer 2, Base.

Latest Trend in NFTs

Doodles follows Pudgy Penguins as the latest NFT brand to announce a token airdrop. In December 2024, Pudgy Penguins launched its token PENGU, which has a total supply of 88,888,888,888 on the Solana network.

Doodles Expansion

Originally starting as an NFT project featuring 10,000 collectible artworks, Doodles has rapidly expanded into animation, music, and even formed a partnership with fast-food giant McDonald’s. According to The Block’s Data Dashboard, Doodles garnered $2.46 million in trading volume between February 2 and February 9.
