Netherlands Stocks Rise After Close
Investing.com – Netherlands stocks were higher after the close on Friday, with gains in the Consumer Goods, Healthcare, and Technology sectors.
At the close in Amsterdam, the AEX added 1.08%.
Top Performers
The best performers of the session on the AEX were:
– ASR Nederland NV (AS:ASRNL): rose 4.13% or 1.80 points to trade at 45.37.
– BE Semiconductor Industries NV (AS:BESI): added 3.23% or 3.16 points to end at 101.10.
– Relx PLC (AS:REL): was up 2.11% or 0.90 points to 43.52 in late trade.
Worst Performers
The worst performers included:
– DSM Firmenich AG (AS:DSFIR): fell 0.50% or 0.55 points to trade at 108.55.
– Heineken (AS:HEIN): declined 0.24% or 0.18 points to end at 75.32.
– ArcelorMittal SA (AS:MT): was unchanged at 22.68.

Commodities Update
Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.98% or 0.68 to $69.94 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for January rose 0.95% or 0.69 to $73.50 a barrel. The December Gold Futures contract rose 0.09% or 2.35 to trade at $2,751.65 a troy ounce.
Currency Rates
The EUR/USD was unchanged at 1.09, while EUR/GBP fell 0.71% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.21% at 104.09.
