Hedge Fund Manager Nelson Peltz Confident in Disney's New Chairman
NEW YORK (Reuters) – Hedge fund manager Nelson Peltz, who faced a tough boardroom challenge at Walt Disney this year, is optimistic about the company's new board chairman, James Gorman.
Peltz praised Gorman, a former Morgan Stanley chief, calling him a "good man." He expressed confidence that Gorman will conduct a comprehensive search to find a "respectable CEO" to succeed Bob Iger and address the company’s succession planning issues.
