Moderna's Leadership Change

(Reuters) – Vaccine maker Moderna (NASDAQ:MRNA) CEO Stephane Bancel will step down as the company's chief commercial officer, as reported by Bloomberg News.

According to the report, Stephen Hoge, the company's president, will assume responsibilities for sales, medical, and research affairs. Bancel will continue as Moderna's CEO.

Moderna previously announced in December that Bancel would lead sales and marketing efforts after the departure of former commercial officer Arpa Garay.
