Collaboration for Web3 Gaming NFT Collection

NFT marketplace Magic Eden, video game developer Ubisoft, and Arbitrum Foundation have launched a web3 gaming NFT collection on Arbitrum.

Details of the Collection

The collection consists of 10,000 NFTs inspired by the Netflix anime show “Captain Laserhawk: The G.A.M.E.” This collaboration positions Arbitrum, the largest Ethereum Layer 2, as Magic Eden’s latest supported blockchain.

Benefits for NFT Holders

Owning an NFT from this multiplayer shooter provides access to various rewards, content creation opportunities, and influence on governance decisions as highlighted in a release from The Block.

Empowering the Community

Ubisoft Web3 Executive Producer Didier Genevois stated, “Through the integration of web3, we’re empowering our community to not only play but shape the future of the game.” He emphasized creating a collaborative ecosystem where players’ decisions and creations significantly influence the game’s evolution.

Market Context

Non-Ethereum web3 gaming experienced $494,000 in trading volume between Sept. 22 and Sept. 29, a notable decrease from the multi-million dollar weekly volumes seen earlier this year, as reported by The Block’s Data Dashboard.
