Kim Kardashian Showcases Tesla’s Optimus Bot

Celebrity Kim Kardashian introduced a Tesla Inc. Optimus bot to her millions of followers on social media. "Meet my new friend," she captioned a video of her interaction with the humanoid bot.

Kardashian demonstrated the bot's capabilities by asking it to wave and form a heart sign, which it accomplished. She also asked it for suggestions on activities, to which the bot recommended running and dancing in a Hawaiian style.

In another video, she featured a Tesla Cybercab with a gold-toned Optimus bot. "Optimus is here to take me for a ride in the Cybercab," she said.

During Tesla’s Robotaxi event in October, CEO Elon Musk elaborated on the bot's potential, stating it could become Tesla's largest product. Musk mentioned the various roles the bot could play: a teacher, a babysitter, a dog-walker, and more. He noted, "Whatever you can think of, it will do," and added it will be available for purchase in the future for an amount less than that of a car.
