Japan Stock Market Update
Investing.com – Japan stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Transportation Equipment, Rubber, and Pharmaceutical Industry sectors pushed shares down.
At the close in Tokyo, the Nikkei 225 fell 2.79%.

Worst Performers
- Lasertec Corp (TYO:6920): -16.44% (3,860.00 points) to 19,615.00
- Subaru Corp (TYO:7270): -11.50% (320.00 points) to 2,461.50
- Fujitsu Ltd. (TYO:6702): -9.04% (268.00 points) to 2,695.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tokyo Stock Exchange by 2814 to 830, with 199 ending unchanged.
The Nikkei Volatility, which measures the implied volatility of Nikkei 225 options, fell 11.79% to 25.97.
