Japan Stock Market Update
Investing.com – Japan stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Marine Transport, Steel, and Communication sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tokyo, the Nikkei 225 rose 0.55%.

Worst Performers
The worst performers were:
– Fujikura Ltd. (TYO:5803): -5.45% (337.00 points), trading at 5,851.00.
– Takara Holdings Inc. (TYO:2531): -2.10% (27.50 points), ending at 1,284.50.
– Nintendo Co Ltd (TYO:7974): -1.94% (179.00 points), down to 9,037.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tokyo Stock Exchange by 1863 to 1669, with 327 unchanged.
Shares in Sony Corp (TYO:6758) rose to all-time highs, gaining 4.12% (132.00 points) to 3,338.00.
The Nikkei Volatility, which measures the implied volatility of Nikkei 225 options, was up 3.10% to 22.92.
