Ivanka Trump Warns of Fake Cryptocurrency

Ivanka Trump, daughter of President Donald Trump, issued a warning about a fraudulent cryptocurrency called ‘Ivanka Trump’ or ‘$IVANKA’.

> “It has come to my attention that a fake crypto coin called ‘Ivanka Trump’ or ‘$IVANKA’ is being promoted without my consent or approval,” she stated on the social media platform X on Thursday.
>
> “To be clear: I have no involvement with this coin. This fake coin risks deceiving consumers and defrauding them of their hard-earned money, and the unauthorized use of my name and likeness is a violation of my rights.”

She described the promotion as “deceptive, exploitative, and unacceptable,” adding, “My legal team is reviewing and will be pursuing measures to stop the continued misuse of my name.”

The emergence of this fake token potentially capitalizes on other legitimate cryptocurrency launches related to the Trump family. Ivanka’s warning comes after her father, Donald Trump, and First Lady Melania Trump previously launched their official memecoins ahead of the presidential inauguration on Jan. 20. As of 1:43 p.m. ET (18:43 UTC), their tokens, TRUMP and MELANIA, were trading at $36.34 and $2.82, respectively.

Moreover, Ivanka’s brothers, Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump, have endorsed another cryptocurrency project named World Liberty Financial, which launched its own token, WLFI, in October 2024, as reported by The Block.
