Israel Stock Market Update

Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Banking, Real Estate, and Oil & Gas sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 declined 0.94%.

Best Performers

Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA): Rose 1.36% (89.00 points) to 6,629.00.
Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TASE:BEZQ): Added 0.39% (1.70 points) to 436.70.
Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM): Up 0.23% (40.00 points) to 17,070.00.

Worst Performers

The worst performers of the session were:
Shikun & Binui (TASE:SKBN): Fell 3.26% (29.00 points) to 861.00.
OPC Energy Ltd (TASE:OPCE): Declined 2.47% (74.00 points) to 2,921.00.
Elbit Systems Ltd (TASE:ESLT): Down 2.36% (1,850.00 points) to 76,660.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 296 to 132, with 112 ending unchanged.

Shares in Tower Semiconductor Ltd reached 5-year highs, gaining 0.23% (40.00 points) to 17,070.00.

Commodities Update

Crude oil for November delivery rose 2.18% (1.60) to $74.84 a barrel. In commodities trading:
Brent oil for December rose 2.22% (1.70) to $78.28 a barrel.
Gold Futures for December rose 0.55% (14.50) to $2,640.50 a troy ounce.

Currency Update

  • USD/ILS was up 0.22% to 3.77.
  • EUR/ILS was unchanged at 4.12.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.07% at 102.76.
