Israel Stock Market Update
Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Communication, Insurance, and Real Estate sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 0.23%, hitting a new all-time high.
Best Performers
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were:
– Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM): rose 6.71% or 1,150.00 points, closing at 18,280.00.
– Enlight Renewable Energy Ltd (TASE:ENLT): added 3.58% or 204.00 points, ending at 5,899.00.
– Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TASE:BEZQ): up 2.80% or 13.90 points, closing at 509.90.
Worst Performers
The worst performers of the session were:
– Sapiens International Corporation NV (TASE:SPNS): fell 4.90% or 540.00 points, trading at 10,490.00.
– Camtek Ltd (TASE:CAMT): declined 2.53% or 810.00 points, ending at 31,190.00.
– Ormat Technologies (TASE:ORA): down 1.93% or 590.00 points, closing at 30,050.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 278 to 178, with 83 stocks ending unchanged.
Shares in Tower Semiconductor Ltd reached 5-year highs, rising 6.71% to 18,280.00. Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp shares also rose to 52-week highs, gaining 2.80% to 509.90.
Commodities Market
Crude oil for December delivery fell 0.22% or 0.15 to $67.97 a barrel. In commodities trading, Brent oil for January delivery decreased by 0.17% or 0.12, reaching $71.77 a barrel. Meanwhile, December Gold Futures rose 0.19% or 4.95, trading at $2,611.25 a troy ounce.
Currency Market
USD/ILS was unchanged at 0.01% to 3.76, while EUR/ILS fell 0.33% to 3.98.
The US Dollar Index Futures increased by 0.19% to 106.15.
