General Motors Resumes Production
(Reuters) – General Motors (NYSE:GM) announced on Monday that it is restarting operations at two assembly plants in Texas and Michigan. This move comes after a temporary halt in production last week due to supply chain disruptions caused by Hurricane Helene.
Production was canceled at both Flint Assembly and Arlington Assembly on Thursday and Friday. However, GM confirmed that Flint operations had already resumed and that the Texas plant would follow suit later on Monday.
At the Arlington, Texas plant, GM manufactures the Chevrolet Tahoe, Suburban, GMC Yukon, and Cadillac Escalade, while the Flint Assembly plant focuses on the Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra.
