Commodity and Currency Update

Gold Futures for February delivery fell 0.49% (12.99) to $2,632.11 per troy ounce. Crude oil for delivery in February dropped 1.09% (0.76) to $68.70 per barrel. Likewise, the March Brent oil contract fell 1.07% (0.78) to $71.78 per barrel.

The EUR/USD rate remained unchanged at 1.04, while the EUR/GBP was stable at 0.83.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.42% at 107.81.
