Foxconn’s Annual Tech Day Forum
TAIPEI (Reuters) – Foxconn, the world’s largest contract electronics maker, announced that executives from Nvidia, Google, and BMW will speak at its annual tech day forum next week.
Foxconn, the leading assembler of Apple’s iPhone, hosts the tech day every October to unveil new products and partnerships. Last year, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang attended the event to announce the collaboration on “AI factories”.
The executives will address topics including artificial intelligence, electric vehicles, and digital health management, according to Foxconn spokesman James Wu. However, he did not confirm if Huang would return this year, stating, “Please stay tuned.”
Additionally, Foxconn will unveil two new electric vehicle models at the tech day, as it aims to replicate its success in assembling personal computers and smartphones in the electric vehicle market.
Foxconn, formally known as Hon Hai Precision Industry, is expanding its operations into the electric vehicle sector.
