Ford Motor Reports October Auto Sales Surge
(Reuters) – Ford Motor (NYSE:F) on Monday reported an approximate 15% increase in U.S. auto sales during October compared to the previous year, driven by strong demand for its F-series trucks and hybrid models.
Sales of the trucks, including the widely popular F-150 model, increased by 29.2%, totaling 100,847 units.
Overall sales for the month rose to 172,756 vehicles, up from 149,938 units a year earlier.
