Finland Stock Market Update
Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, with losses in the Industrials, Basic Materials, and Telecoms sectors leading to a decline in share prices.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 declined 0.56%.
Best Performers
- Neste Oyj (HE:NESTE): up 1.58% or 0.26 points to 16.76 at the close.
- Qt Group Oyj (HE:QTCOM): up 0.97% or 0.85 points to 88.65.
- Nordea Bank Abp (HE:NDAFI): up 0.29% or 0.03 points to 10.43 in late trade.
Worst Performers
- Valmet Oyj (HE:VALMT): down 2.82% or 0.79 points to 27.24.
- Cargotec Oyj (HE:CGCBV): down 2.70% or 1.41 points to 50.86.
- Konecranes ABP (HE:KCRA): down 2.67% or 1.80 points to 65.50.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 98 to 71, with 20 ending unchanged.
Commodity Prices
- Brent oil for December delivery was up 3.02% or 2.31 to $78.89 a barrel.
- Crude oil for November delivery rose 2.98% or 2.18 to $75.42 a barrel.
- December Gold Futures rose 0.57% or 15.00 to trade at $2,641.00 a troy ounce.
Currency Updates
- EUR/USD was unchanged at 1.09, while EUR/GBP also remained unchanged at 0.84.
- The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.03% at 102.72.
