Finland Stock Market Update
Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Telecoms, Consumer Services, and Basic Materials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 added 1.14%.
Best Performers
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were:
– Nokia Oyj (HE:NOKIA): rose 8.15% or 0.32 points to trade at 4.27 at the close.
– Metso Oyj (HE:METSO): added 3.33% or 0.30 points to end at 9.44.
– Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V): up 1.86% or 0.06 points to 3.34 in late trade.
Worst Performers
The worst performers of the session included:
– Elisa Oyj (HE:ELISA): fell 4.71% or 2.30 points to trade at 46.56 at the close.
– Neste Oyj (HE:NESTE): declined 4.17% or 0.67 points to end at 15.29.
– Orion Oyj B (HE:ORNBV): down 2.04% or 0.99 points to 47.53.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 88 to 76, with 23 ending unchanged.
Shares in Nokia Oyj reached 52-week highs, gaining 8.15% or 0.32 to 4.27. In contrast, shares in Neste Oyj fell to 5-year lows, down 4.17% or 0.67 to 15.29.
Commodities Trading
- Brent oil for December delivery was down 2.03% or 1.51 to $72.94 a barrel.
- Crude oil for November delivery fell 2.12% or 1.50 to hit $69.17 a barrel.
- December Gold Futures rose 0.83% or 22.60 to trade at $2,730.10 a troy ounce.
