Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Consumer Services, Healthcare and Telecoms sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 gained 0.67%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Kojamo (HE:KOJAMO), which rose 2.90% or 0.27 points to trade at 9.39 at the close. Meanwhile, Cargotec Oyj (HE:CGCBV) added 2.12% or 1.12 points to end at 53.88 and Orion Oyj B (HE:ORNBV) was up 1.69% or 0.75 points to 45.14 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Fortum Oyj (HE:FORTUM), which fell 1.90% or 0.28 points to trade at 14.23 at the close. Nordea Bank Abp (HE:NDAFI) declined 0.23% or 0.03 points to end at 10.62 and Stora Enso Oyj R (HE:STERV) was down 0.19% or 0.02 points to 9.30.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 100 to 70 and 18 ended unchanged.
Shares in Stora Enso Oyj R (HE:STERV) fell to 3-years lows; falling 0.19% or 0.02 to 9.30.
Brent oil for January delivery was up 0.96% or 0.71 to $74.94 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in January rose 1.20% or 0.84 to hit $70.94 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.22% or 32.75 to trade at $2,707.65 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.72% to 1.04, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.13% to 0.83.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.63% at 107.61.
