E. coli Outbreak Investigation

(Reuters) – The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is investigating Taylor Farms, a supplier for McDonald's (NYSE:MCD), as a possible source of an E. coli outbreak linked to Quarter Pounder hamburgers. This outbreak has resulted in at least one death and nearly 50 illnesses, according to CNBC's report on Thursday.

The FDA did not respond to a request for comment.
