Jeffrey Wilcke Transfers ETH to Kraken

Jeffrey Wilcke, a co-founder of Ethereum and primary developer of the Go Ethereum (Geth) client, transferred 9,840 ETH (worth $9.22 million) to the Kraken exchange about an hour ago.

Three months prior, Wilcke moved 105,737 ETH to eight new wallets and currently holds 95,897 ETH (valued at $401.6 million). On-chain data reveals that Wilcke’s other known wallet contains 268,732 ETH ($1.13 million), 1.13 million Status (SNT) tokens ($32,920), and 951,264 Ethereum Name Service (ENS) tokens ($27,940).

Wilcke, who co-founded Ethereum in 2014, was instrumental in developing ETH’s core technology and played a significant role in creating the Go Ethereum (Geth) software, which is one of the most widely used clients accessing the ETH blockchain.

Recently, the price of ETH has caused considerable debate, having surged 21% in one week, and it is currently trading at $4,217.
