Donald Trump Endorses DeFi Project by Sons

Donald Trump has endorsed a decentralized finance (DeFi) crypto project led by his sons.

In a post on Truth Social on Thursday, Trump emphasized the need to take a stand against big banks and financial elites. He linked to the Telegram channel for the project, stating, “For too long, the average American has been squeezed by the big banks and financial elites. It’s time we take a stand—together,” followed by the hashtag #BeDefiant.

The Telegram channel, named The DeFiant Ones, features the tagline “Official Trump DeFi Channel” and currently has nearly 26,000 subscribers since its creation on August 7.

A recent post on the channel noted, “Over the next few days, we’ll be sharing some important updates and announcements right here in this channel.”

Former U.S. President Donald Trump Jr. also announced the new Telegram channel last Thursday, urging followers to join for official updates. “To get the real story and stay updated with official announcements, join our official Telegram channel. Don’t rely on speculation—get the news directly here!”

This promotion followed Trump Jr.’s earlier teaser announcement about the crypto project, using the hashtag #BeDeFiant. The name of the channel aligns with recent trademark filings by AMG Software Solutions, which applied for terms including “Be DeFiant” and “World Liberty Financial,” focusing on decentralized finance information.
