ESPN Extends U.S. Open Broadcasting Deal
BRISTOL, Connecticut (Reuters) – Walt Disney (NYSE:DIS)’s ESPN signed a deal with the United States Tennis Association to continue broadcasting the U.S. Open tournament through 2037, the network announced on Wednesday.
ESPN, currently airing this year’s U.S. Open, will air the tournament in the United States, Latin America, and the Caribbean starting in 2026. The new agreement also grants ESPN enhanced streaming rights for U.S. Open programming.
This 12-year agreement marks ESPN’s longest commitment to tennis.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
